So here's the quick run-down on who I am. First of all, I'm God's kid. He claimed me as his own quite some time ago, and even if I'm not the best behaved, when it comes down to it, I'm His. That will likely be reflected in my posts, so get used to it.
I'm also married! I met the most amazing woman back in 2007, and wasted no time. We were married the same year, and had our first of 2 (so far) kids the next year. The years since have been exhilarating and full of adventure!
More about me: Besides my inordinate love for books, I'm also into beekeeping. I'm hugely interested in all things natural, and I find ecology especially intriguing. I've always been fascinated with living systems and would love to get degree or two in that general field of study. This stands alongside a perennial love of the cosmic scale of reality. Space! I love to stay on top of the latest developments and am always excited for the latest news of discovered planets. It's hard to really believe that we're regularly discovering other worlds out there and more and more of them are increasingly earth-like. We live in exciting times!
